The European Conference on Information Literacy (or ECIL) was organized by the Department of Information and Communication Sciences of Zagreb University and Department of Information Management of Hacettepe University.  It was held under the patronage of UNESCO and IFLA from 20-23 October 2014, at Hotel Valamar Lacroma in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
